About
Embrace Your Passion
I grew up in the beautiful Art Deco Napier, New Zealand and always thought and dreamt in sound, rhythm, and beats. I uncovered my passion for music growing up in a creative household and hearing my father and grandfather play piano, and listening to my brother's massive vinyl collection. At only 3yrs old I was in my first stage musical (The King and I). From that point on, I was always singing, then in later years later was involved in radio, bands, television and recording.
Live Life in Song
The street beats of LA and late night Hollywood scene is where I travelled to learn and develop my musical/entertainer skills. I followed my dream to California and New Orleans to sing and hear so many musicians who I admired. Though specialising in female jazz standards I love collaborating with other artists and experimenting with different genres of music.
After many years abroad I have returned to Hawkes Bay bringing those flavours and influences back with me as singer Lady Larisa. I remain happy to travel for gigs.

Be it a corporate event, media launch, jazz evening or private function. I also have an acoustic duo called Larisa & Arahi which is less jazzy and just as enjoyable.
