Lady Larisa is a jazz and soul singer for the ages, bringing sparkle to every stage she graces. Sumptuously swathed in glamorous vintage, her captivating presence and velvety vocals command the eyes, ears and hearts of audiences across the globe, from Hollywood blues clubs to Latin American jazz dens; ornate Opera Houses to festival fields.
Equally at ease at the head of a big band or a stripped back trio, her silken tones transport her audiences to another time.
The classic style she embraces leans into the 1950s and 60s world of jazz, tinged with Latin influences and shades of soul, but in truth all her own.Her songwriting captures the essence of an era and is tailored to her honey-over-thunder vocals, evident on her debut EP, Honeychild.
Lady Larisa was chosen as the support act for Michael Bublé’s only New Zealand show, and has opened for Sir Dave Dobbyn and performed with Herman Jackson in Hollywood.
“Her powerful delivery exuded a subtle seductivity, making it clear why she has a reach far beyond the shores of Aōtearoa (New Zealand).” - Ambient Light.
“Worthy of one of the great night clubs of the world.” - Jamie Macphail, SHS.
